A Stunning Sea Island Proposal, By a Sea Island Photographer

When Alex contacted me about the surprise he had planned for Jordan, I was ecstatic to provide the photography and assist with the final touches of planning. He had his heart set on proposing on the pristine, sandy beaches of Sea Island. With everything meticulously thought out and my guidance, he executed the perfect Sea Island proposal.

The day of the proposal finally arrived.

When the day finally arrived…. everything fell into place seamlessly. The Beach Club at Sea Island served as the most dreamy backdrop. The afternoon light cast its golden glow, and the ring… Oh my, it was sheer perfection! I positioned myself at a discreet distance, blending in as though I were just another guest admiring the scenic views. Jordan, taking in her surroundings, seemed completely unaware. And then, in the perfect spot against the backdrop of Sea Island’s golden dunes and the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, Alex went down on one knee. The answer? A resounding YES from Jordan!

Having the privilege to photograph this beautiful couple was truly an honor. As a Sea Island Photographer, this is the type of day I dream about: a stunning couple, a beautiful location, and surrounded by all the happiness and excitement in the world!.

My excitement was just as elevated.

Their excitement was palpable, and I must confess, my own joy matched theirs. This moment starts their forever. They chose me, a local wedding photographer, to share this moment with. Their elation was evident, but secretly, my heart was overjoyed as well!

After all the excitement, we followed up with a few engagement photos and then Alex and Jordan headed to dinner at The Georgian Room located in The Cloister for a celebratory dinner. It wasn’t long before they shared the big news with their nearest and dearest!
